Courses for Students

UHV courses are intended to help students to develop a holistic, humane world vision. A self-reflective, explorational methodology is adopted. All content discussed is universal, rational, and verifiable, and leads to harmony.

Clarity of these fundamental universal human values helps in understanding and living by the various specific expressions. E.g., National values enshrined in the Constitution, aspirations articulated in NEP 2020, UN MDGs and SDGs...

These facilitator-led courses are typically designed for 1-semester (16 weeks).

Students explore, discuss, and discover the naturally acceptable universal human values that are fundamental to human nature and human existence. Exploring, understanding, and living by such fundamental values leads to a life of responsibility, peace, and harmony – as a human being, as a member of a human family, as a part of society, and as a unit in the entire nature/existence.

A bouquet of higher-level courses (UHV-III onwards) are packaged into a minor degree in UHV. This is intended to develop teachers, parents, and policymakers of tomorrow who will have a humane world vision, along with technical skills who strive to ensure value-based living for themselves and are committed to developing a humane society.
